Rachel Astorga-McCain

Rachel Astorga-McCain is the Director of programs at Hand to Hold and is passionate about supporting families with babies in the NICU. Preterm birth increases the chance of a NICU stay, and preterm birth rates are 49% higher for Black parents in the US. As a NICU parent herself, Rachel knows the emotional toll a NICU stay can have and she is passionate about addressing disparities for parents and babies.
