Dr. Keyona Walker is the owner of Dr. K M Walker, LLC which provides diversity training and consultation to mental health professionals and other organizations. She has taught graduate-level psychology courses for the past nine years and is currently an Assistant Professor at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Walker received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from Illinois Wesleyan University. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad at the Universidad de Granada in Spain. Upon completion of her undergraduate training, she entered the Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program at Marquette University. She obtained her master’s degree in Counseling from Marquette University in 2008, and her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in 2011. She has experience working in community mental health, hospital, and correctional settings. She has provided individual and group therapy in both English and Spanish. She has a passion for working with people from marginalized groups and providing service to the community. She is currently the Vice-President of a non-profit organization in Milwaukee.
